I decided to put an end to the Nice UF Fridays. I must change my priorities, taking care of it asked more time than expected and I was hardly able to find some the last few weeks. Also the participation has lowered.
The current theme continues anyway until Friday the 25th. I will also keep online the official site for some time if some people still wants to try themselves. The themes will stay anyway on my own website after that.
I thank all those who participated.

J'ai décidé d'arrêter les beaux vendredis UF. Je dois changer mes priorités, m'en occuper prenait plus de temps que prévu et je n'ai pas été capable d'en trouver les quelques dernières semaines. La participation a aussi baissé.
Le thème courant continue quand même jusqu'au 25 prochain. Je vais aussi garder en ligne quelque temps le site officiel pour ceux qui aimeraient encore s'essayer. De toutes manières, les thèmes vont rester sur mon propre site web par après.
Je remercie tous ceux qui ont participé.

Beginning this week, the Nice UF Fridays will be every two weeks instead of each Friday. This will let more time to participate.

I would like to thank all the people who participate. It is very difficult for me to thank everybody individually. I also hope nobody will feel offended or disappointed if I don't always give a personal comment on all images submitted to the Nice UF Fridays. I know how comments can be rewarding.
Be sure I look at all the challenge images I am aware of and if there is no comment, this doesn't mean I don't like them. Often it means that I am just not able to make a quick translation to what I would like to say or that after seeing so many nice images, I just ran out of words.

J'aimerais remercier tous les participants à ce défi. C'est très difficile pour moi de le faire pour chaque personne individuellement. J'espère aussi que je n'offense ni ne déçoit personne en ne faisant pas de commentaires personnels à chaque image. Je sais comment des commentaires peuvent être gratifiants.
Soyez sûrs que je regarde toutes les images qui sont portées à mon attention et s'il n'y a pas de commentaires ça ne veut pas dire que je ne les aime pas. Souvent, c'est que je ne suis pas capable de faire un commentaire rapide ou simplement que je ne sais plus quoi dire après avoir vu tellement de belles images.

The first theme is Spring. We must also see some yellow in your image. It is not compelled to be the dominant colour but it must be very visible.

I just want to recall you that spring has other meanings than the season in English, if it can give you some ideas. However, don't forget the yellow colour.

Le thème de cette semaine est le Printemps. Il doit aussi y avoir de la couleur jaune dans votre image. Ce n'est pas obligé d'être la couleur dominante mais ça doit être très visible.

Printemps se dit spring en anglais. Mais dans cette langue, ça veut aussi dire ressort, source... Comme au scrabble, je n'aurai pas le choix de les accepter pour être juste, si ça peut vous donner des idées. N'oubliez pas quand même le jaune.

Presenting the challenge - Présentation du défi

Every week, as long as I can, I will propose a challenge that I will call Nice UF Friday. It will be based on the same principle as Illustration Friday as there will be a theme, but other constraints could be possible. For example, some formulas, some techniques, etc.

The challenge is limited to the fractal software Ultrafractal all versions included. The image must be produced with that software, entirely or for its most part. It must also satisfy to the particular conditions of the challenge. However, this will be done on honour as verifications are not always possible.

The first announcement will be made on the UF main list, on Renderosity, on Deviant Art, in some private lists where I am member, on my website at UF Challenges, finally on this blog which will be the official site for the challenge. After that, it will be announced only on this blog and on my website where participants will be able to learn the conditions.

Participants can post their image or their parameters as they wish, and announce them for viewing everywhere they want: the UF list, Rendo, DA, their blog... You can also post that place as a comment on this blog, a good way to share addresses with more people.

I won't participate every time even if I know giving example is better.

Those who want to share ideas with me (themes or constraints) are welcome.

Chaque semaine le vendredi, tant que je le peux, je vais fournir un défi que je vais appeller Les beaux vendredis UF. Ce sera basé sur le principe de Illustration Friday dans la mesure où ce sera un thème, mais il pourrait y avoir d'autres contraintes, par exemple, certaines formules, certaines techniques, etc.

Le défi est limité au logiciel de fractales Ultrafractal, toutes versions. L'image devra être produite entièrement avec ce logiciel sinon dans sa majeure partie. Elle devra satisfaire aux conditions particulières du défi. Toutefois, ce sera sur l'honneur puisque les vérifications ne sont pas toujours possible.

La première annonce sera faite sur la liste principale de UF, à Renderosity, à Deviant Art, dans certaines listes privées sont je suis membre, sur mon site web à Défis UF, enfin sur ce blogue qui sera le site officiel du défi. Par la suite, ce sera seulement sur ce blogue et sur mon site web que les participants pourront prendre connaissance des conditions.

Les participants peuvent poster leur image ou leurs paramètres et les publiciser à l'endroit de leur choix: la liste UF, Rendo, DA, leur blogue... Vous pouvez aussi poster cet endroit en commentaire sur ce blogue-ci, ce qui permettra de partager les adresses avec plus de gens.

Je ne participerai pas tout le temps, même si je sais que c'est mieux
quand on donne l'exemple.

Ceux qui veulent fournir des idées (thèmes ou contraintes) sont bienvenus.
